Social Circuit
Because who doesn't want a reason to get together with friends every month?
Our Social Circuit is designed to get guys and girls together on the course for a great time. This is ideal for friends and couples or if you want to meet some new people (and maybe a significant other). Of course there's still a touch of friendly competition, but it's more about just getting out there and playing.

How does it work?
1. Sign up for a membership.
2. Earn points each month just by playing 9-holes at one of the designated courses with 3 other members. Your score doesn't matter.
3. Play in our in-person scrambles each month to rack up more points. Our two Majors are double points so don't miss out...
4. Whichever 2 guys & 2 girls have the most points after our October finals will be our season-long champs!
Prizes will also be awarded to the in-person event winners, our finals champs, and runners-up!
In-Person Event Schedule
All of our in-person Social events will be 9-hole scrambles and you need at least 1 guy and 1 girl per team.
Scrambles are when you take the best shot from the group each time, making it super low pressure.
The better your finishing position, the more points you earn!
*All of the courses and dates will be finalized by 4/7/25*

What is a GHIN handicap?A GHIN (Golf Handicap & Information Network) handicap is a numerical measure of a golfer's ability, or potential ability, provided by the USGA, used to enable players of different skill levels to compete fairly, and is accessed through the GHIN system. We are able to provide you with discounted access to one if you purchase a plan with a GHIN. Typically they are $65 to get on your own.
-
What are the handicap tiers?A: 0 - 6.9 B: 7 - 13.9 C: 14 - 20.9 D: 21+ The maximum playing handicap is 30.
-
What if I don't have an established handicap yet?Not a problem. If you purchase one of our membership plans with a GHIN we will get you an official handicap ($65 value). When it comes to playing, our scoring software will utilize the System 36 scoring until your handicap is established within the GHIN system. This allows you to still play in our events and earn points while your handicap is being established.
-
What if my handicap changes and puts me into a different tier?Inevitably your handicap will be fluctuating throughout the year and it may bump you up or drop you into a new handicap tier. That is totally fine because we will re-group tiers at the beginning of every month so whatever your handicap is at the beginning of the month determines the tier you will be playing in that month. Your points are cumulative throughout the year and whatever handicap tier you're in for the finals will be where you compete and your cumulative points from the year will determine your starting position within that tier. For example, let's pretend my handicap all year has been in the 7.3-7.9 range so I've been competing in the B tier and have racked up 16 points. I then play really well in September and my updated handicap on 10/1 is now a 6.8. This means that for our finals in October you would compete in the A tier, but you would retain your 16 points to determine your starting position within the A tier.
-
How does the points system work? The amount of points up for grab will be the same for each month-long competition and for each in-person event (excluding the majors, which are double points). This means that even if you can't make that month's in-person event, you can still rack up just as many points by playing yourself at one the of designated courses. Your total season points then determine your starting position in the finals. However, the maximum strokes you can start ahead is 5. And just remember, you are only competing against others in your handicap tier.
-
How do I submit my scores each month? At the beginning of each month you will be required to register for our month-long event. When you go to play at one of the designated courses that month with another member you will be able to choose the course you're playing in our scoring system. You then will simply enter your hole-by-hole score and our system will automatically calculate your net score on that course and show where you stand on the month-long leaderboard for your handicap division.
-
How do you score across different courses? Our scoring system is able to take into account different course's difficulty and playing conditions to create your playing handicap and one leaderboard. So if you play the harder course that month, you will have more strokes than an equivalent handicap player playing the easier course that month. We understand this is not a perfect system, but we want to allow people in all different areas around Boston to be part of this.
-
What formats will you do?All of the month-long events will be individual formats such as net stroke or stableford. All of the monthly in-person events will be team based. This will consist of 2-4 person scrambles and best ball competitions. In our opinion, there is nothing better than a four person scramble with your friends but playing your own ball and working to get better is also important to us. That's why we decided on individual play on your own and team play at all of our in-person events.
-
What are Classic Majors? This is where things can get very interesting. We will have two Majors during the season (5/9 & 8/8) and all points are doubled at these events. Double points opens the door for big shifts in the leaderboard so you won't want to miss it!
-
How does the Finals work? The entire season is building towards the grand finale in October. This will be a net stroke outing to crown the champion in all 4 different handicap tiers. Your point total during the season will determine your starting position in the finals. The more points you have, the greater your starting lead.
-
What if I can't make the finals?Although we want the finals to be as hype as possible, we understand life happens and you might not be able to make it but still want a chance to win your handicap tier. That is why we are allowing members to play with 3 other members at the Finals course between 10/4 and 10/25. We are requiring you to play with 3 other members in order to ensure fairness during the individual competition. You can utilize the community chat forum to find 3 other members that can't make the finals, or we can pair you up. We understand this is not a perfect solution, but we don't want people who have competed all season to miss their shot at winning just because of a scheduling conflict. I hope you understand considering this is not the PGA Tour.
-
What is the member chat forum? When you sign up for a membership you will have the option to be added to the "Classic Tour" chat forum. This is a place where members can easily find others to play with for the month long competitions on your time or just in general. You can also utilize this chat for all other things golf such as talking courses, selling/exchanging clubs & gear, trip destinations, etc. You are by no means required to be in or active in the chat forum, but it is a great way for people to connect and find other like-minded players.
-
What if I need a member to play with each month? You are more than welcome to play with your friends if they are also members and available. However, at the beginning of each month you will be able to choose "Randomly pair me with another member" or choose "I will find my own playing partner." If you choose to get randomized, we will put you in contact with the player you are matched with and you can then coordinate the time and course to play. You can also utilize the community chat forum to find a playing partner for that month.
-
What if I can't make every event? Not a problem! The month-long competitions allow for people to continue racking up points even if they can't make our in-person events. If you did have to mark any events on your calendar though, I would mark the two Majors on 5/9 and 8/8 because that is when double points are up for grabs.
-
What are the prizes?Prizes range from free golf gear and gift cards to custom FootJoys, brand new clubs, and stay and plays. Each month-long competition winner will receive a prize, as well as the group winners at all of our in-person events. The season-long champs for each handicap division will win the grand prize, which has a minimum value of $400. The grand prize package is still currently being put together for the 2025 season.
-
Do I have to pay for the events and on my own each month?Yes. Our membership gets you access to the season-long tournament, access to our private online community, and member perks but it does not cover green fees when you go to play on your own each month as part of the tour. The membership also does not cover green fees to play in our in-person events, but a premium plan will save you $20 each event so that is the most bang for your buck if you plan to play in 3+ events.
